This great bakery began In 1983 when Daniel Leader moved his family from NYC to the Catskill Mountains to bake organic breads on the hearth of a wood-fired brick oven. A chef by training, Dan learned to bake naturally-fermented, artisan breads touring bakeries in Paris. Dan wanted to bring this pure, honest craft to his home and community. We make our café foods in-house using ingredients from the Hudson Valley. We create items that feature the same honest simplicity as our breads and pastries.
We offer a selection of sensibly priced and sustainably packaged catering trays for your event. We also offer coffee and tea service, as well as a selection of local juices..
