From the Eyes of a Farmer
This past Summer, I will call it forever more, the Summer that wasn’t, I opened a store that only sold food from local sources. Apples and cider from Soon’s Orchard, yogurt from Tonjes, milk from Hudson Valley Fresh and Biodynamic produce from Harmony Farm and harmonious it was, from the eyes of a farmer.
My sister, Cynthia Cheyne and I had the pleasure of visiting Harmony Farm once a week to pick up our order. We would arrive and shut off our engines, Cindi in her car and me in my truck. We would then sit there for a just a moment to soak in the peaceful silence broken up by the singing of birds. Boy, the birds really like it there.
Matt, the Farmer @ Harmony Farm in Goshen New York, was usually in the fenced in enclosure. We would all spot each other and then we would  make our way over to the cooler to uncover the order.
Just a tremendous feast for the eyes when the beets were uncovered (Â http://www.abundantlifefarm.com/) just wonderful and grateful to have had those experiences in my life. If we all had those experiences we would be happier for them, so call Matt @ your Harmony farm and thank him for the Beets!
